Lía Dos Reis venezuelan plastic artist born in 1985 and based in Uruguay since 2009.
Since childhood she has a passion for painting, and due to a deep uprooting feeling, produced by letting her country behind, she feels the need to review her life and herself.
Therefore, she quits her job as a Social Comunicator and begins an inside journey to find expression through painting, in search of a new meaning in life.
Her work Is woman-centered and femenine power related to the heart, emotion, intuition and the intangible, that escapes logic and materialism.
Through a deep gaze, determined strokes, and blunt colors the artist manifests her feelings.
Through the years she has presented numerous national and international exhibitions and her work Is part of private collections in countries such as: U.K., Spain, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Argentina and Uruguay, among others.
